Poem

Ellipsis

They always go
But without a glow
Starting with Ribadu
Down to hanging Magu.
Swimming out in cess
Sunk to the chest
Always saved by a bell
At the gates of hell.
Nuhu had to go
With his boss’ flow
Dem say nobody holy pass
Say he gada pass brass
Politicians saw his heart
Panting after No 1. Hat
They would make him go
Before the chance to grow.
Faridah naturally blemished
Reason she was punished.
She shouldn’t be wearing gown
It’s a sin around the crown.
So, they said she loved gold
Never said she stole, though
Just a way to cast the smell
And at the same time, the spell.
To be continued
